150mm & 300mm Expanders

These expanders are designed for low volume picking of die from 150mm & 300mm wafers diced on film frames.  They are precision crafted from stainless steel and anodized aluminum, utilizing gas shocks for opening and closing. 

A diced wafer still on its frame is placed into the machined slots on the underside on the lid, leaving the wafer exposed through the hole.  The operator is able to use the bar to close the expander onto the expansion chuck and once closed can lift the handle out of the way for easy access to the expanded wafer.  This makes for easy pickings.
